If the bike is dirty, wash it thoroughly. Remove any old graphics and carefully clean off adhesive residue. Then clean the surfaces once more with a degreaser so the graphics stick properly.

Cleaning is a key part of getting a good result. The cleaner the surface, the better the graphics adhere and the longer they stay in place.

You will need a heat gun for the installation. In a pinch, a hair dryer is also a good helper, although not as effective.

Open the graphics pack and lay the pieces out on a clean surface. The product images always include a "map" showing where each piece goes.

Start applying. The order doesn't matter much, so begin with the piece whose position you recognize. If you're unsure about some pieces, leave them for last. As the work progresses, it gets easier to figure out where the different pieces go. It's a bit like assembling a jigsaw puzzle, which also gets easier toward the end.

Test-fit the graphic in place before removing the backing paper that protects the adhesive. Think about which direction to start sticking from, and work gradually from one end to the other. Press the graphic down and shape it to the contours of the bike. If it doesn't want to fold or fit, heat the graphic with the heat gun. Heat lets it fold into even tricky spots and, if needed, stretch a little.

If it doesn't land in the right spot straight away, or air bubbles are left underneath, you can peel the graphic off partially or even completely. Preferably not many times, though, and do it as soon as possible after you started sticking it down.

Once the graphic is in place, heat it up and press/smooth it firmly down. Heating softens the adhesive, so the graphic stays firmly attached.

Extra tip: Let the graphics sit overnight before riding, or at least a few hours. After that, go over the graphics, and if any corner or fold has come loose, heat it and press it down again.
