The Helix slide piece is made from a high-quality self-lubricating composite plastic that withstands drivetrain stress and keeps the secondary variator's movement smooth. The high-quality material reduces wear and extends the variator's service life.

It is also highly compatible with aluminium and reduces wear on metal components in the variator.
