This is a proven, reliable winch that is easy to install in place of a standard winch. However, it is important to note that the increased pulling power may be too much for the ATV's winch mounting point.

If you replace this winch with the standard one, we recommend reinforcing the attachment point on the ATV!

But the solution is easy = install the mounting bracket that comes with this winch set behind the standard bracket, and it will strengthen the mounting point.
