Despite its age and mileage, the Kawasaki has remained in great condition. It is almost entirely original, save for the windscreen, bar-end weights, and a spacious top case.

The most recent owner has clocked up over 25,000 kilometers in just a few years, so it can certainly be considered a reliable machine. They have also kept detailed maintenance records, although the latest service is missing from the log; that service was performed at the start of the 2026 season.

It’s a great bike otherwise, but apparently the clutch tends to stick in the "engaged" position after sitting for a while. It reportedly frees up if run in gear while on the center stand. The issue hasn't been investigated in depth, but a different oil grade might make a difference. Once released, the clutch operates normally.
