DEFA ChargerKit 1205 Flex is a compact 12 V / 5 A battery charger for fixed installation.

The installation kit includes everything you need to install the charger. It can be fitted to a car, ATV, boat, tractor or just about any machine. And you can be sure your battery has power even after a longer period of standing idle.

Regular charging helps keep the battery in working condition and may extend its service life.

Can I leave the charger connected all the time?

Yes, the charger is designed for permanent connection. DEFA does, however, remind that the battery condition should be checked at regular intervals.

Is the charger suitable for a 24 V system?

Yes, when you use two chargers, one for each 12 V battery. The 12 V outputs of the chargers must not be connected in series.

Which batteries is the charger suitable for?

According to DEFA, 12 V lead-acid batteries (open and sealed), including AGM and GEL. If your battery is another type, check compatibility with the battery manufacturer.

How is the charger installed?

Installation is done according to DEFA's installation guide using DEFA's original connection accessories. A fuse must be fitted to the battery's positive cable.
