An easy-to-use and high-quality mini-cross bike?
The CX-2E, manufactured by CFMOTO, meets the needs of the future motocross rider. This electric little gun is perfect for starting out in the hobby and has significant advantages over petrol motocross.
Why would I buy an electric motocross bike?
First of all, the electric motocross is almost silent. This allows you to ride it in your backyard, even if your neighbor is right next door.
Additionally, the electric motor is maintenance-free. No oil changes, no valve clearance checks or piston replacements. Maintenance is limited to washing, chain lubrication and charging.
What else? The kids' electric motocross is really easy to ride. No gears, no 2T engine power spikes, just smooth and adjustable power.
The advantage of electricity is that you can really control its power. This means you can easily choose the power range and top speed without compromising the nature of the engine.
When a small motocross bike with an internal combustion engine is limited by the throttle, it also affects the bike's functionality. The power range of an internal combustion engine is very narrow, but the electric motor provides constant torque, and the limitation doesn't completely kill the desire to go.
So if you're weighing up between electricity and an internal combustion engine, electricity is probably the better option.
The CX-2E is similar in size to small 50-70cc motocross bikes, which are designed for the beginner rider.
There are 3 driving modes, meaning you can easily adjust the engine power and top speed with a button on the "tank". There is no clutch or gears and this one starts effortlessly by twisting the throttle.

Charging is done using the included charger from a normal wall socket and takes about 10 minutes from empty to full. Of course, it is a good idea to charge the battery as often as possible, and it is not advisable to let it run completely empty.
In the familiar place of the tank cap on petrol-powered vehicles, there is a display that shows the battery charge level, power settings 1-3 and the "READY" status, which means you can start riding. Below the display is a button that allows you to change the riding mode, and the power switch is behind the number mask.
There is also a so-called "kill cord", a magnetic emergency stop that can be attached to the rider and turns off the entire device when it is removed from the handlebars.
How long can you drive the CX-5E on a dirt bike?
The terrain and driving style affect the driving time. If you pull the throttle all the way open, the battery will last about 35 minutes. If you ride around the yard, ride on a rough track, or dust off a dirt road, the driving time will be about 1-2 hours, even longer.
